Special one not coming then

There is a significant difference now in that all parties are agreed and City wont be paying £40m compo to Madrid.
That's misleading . Noone really knows where Jose will be next season. I suspect he has an idea but that's about it.

There is no deal with city in place , let's get that straight

I never sad there was a deal.

I said that everyone knows the score.

And what needs to happen and when.

"Many a slip 'twix cup and lip" of course.

my cristall ball never lie. and don't rely on my will.

i love that poster so i'll be very sad.

Since my first reply to this got deleted I'll try it a different way. Putting aside the sarcasm, you're not a blue, you're a Mancini fan. You get little respect from me because you give very little respect. Many posters like you have come and gone from Bluemoon in my many years on this forum. We'll be laughing about you a year from now...enjoy your moment in the Bluemoon spotlight. I'll look out for you on the Juve forums in September.

You are without doubt the worst poster on this site who does nothing but troll whilst hiding (badly) behind English not being your first language. You give plenty of shit out and many times breaking the C of C yourself and at the first opportunity you run off to a mod demanding that a poster gets warned or banned!

Someone get rid of the Troll!

Hahaha! It's funny, you're pretty much the only poster who regularly makes me break the COC. You should be flattered - plenty worse than you get roundly ignored.

i still love you in the bit.

I was pissing myself for a long time looking at how some of our fans thought we would get him, perhaps it's just wishful thinking. Mourinho will always get his own way, and what he wants is the Rags job. I can see why so many don't like the think about this as we are all looking forward to Fergie leaving and them suffering for it but if theres one man who will stop this it's Mourinho.

Quick, before he wins anything!

I suppose it's hard to argue against the rest of my post hence the cute one liner.

I'd love to know why you think Perez would be in the slightest bit pleased with a semi final defeat and no La Liga title again. For me he's probably as trigger happy and egotistical as Roman - so Mou is about as secure in his job at Real as Carlo is at Chelsea...

The point is, it's not hard. Too easy in fact. I get bored.

Perez has time. A few jibes about trophies don't bring the elections forward. Like you say he wants the big prize.

And Mourinho is his best chance of it.

There is need to act and no better option.

Well, I promise to never bore your intelligence with my own inane stupidity ever again.

Consider yourself rid of me.

Hire his protoge, Villas Boas. The guy still hasn't lost in the Portuguese Liga, plays attractive football, and looks good in the Europa League. He's 33 and undefeated.

Where are we going to find someone else like that? Jose doesn't want to come. Hiddink is Roman's man.

This guy Villas Boas is "special". Risky to hire, as too young, but good.

He is very risky.

The risk is huge, but so is the upside. Mourinho, if we got him, would be gone in 3 years to win a WC or Euro. If we got Villas Boas, and if he is the genius he appears to be, he might be our manager for 40 years.

I say this: if we can't get the very best among the proven managers, I'd rather take a risk on Villas Boas than someone like Rafa, Capello, or Van Gaal.

I was about say this until I read your post!

How absolutely foolish would it be for Real to rid themselves of the self proclaimed 'Special One' when there is nobody better qualified to win the club honours as him?? Regardless of what happens, this season, he'll be given at least one more year to succeed.

To Real, there is only downward quality from this man, so they will grin and bear this season to get somewhere next.

Mourinho will have to walk or be sacked, and I can envisage neither scenario after one year in charge. What will happen is a clear out of players to fund the next chapter.

I think this is pretty much the picture and the hopers will be disappointed, yet again.

So, after reading 16 pages on how Mourinho rubbishes a move to us and certain people saying that 'It's All a Smoke Screen', can someone, no, anyone confirm for sure that we are currently in talks with him and that Mancini is definately getting the sack?

Thanks in advance.

Yes there have been talks, meetings and cards are now on the table for all parties involved.

It still doesn't mean that he will be City's manager come next season as that requires Mourinho to be fired by Real.

If that does happen watch this space.

And you're welcome, in advance.
Cheers pal, but are you sure that Real are happy with us talking to Jose midway through the season?

I would have thought that he may have been approached by a 3rd party again and they've sent info back to the club as to what his thinking is, but nothing concrete.

As for being sacked by Real, even if they don't win the league or CL, then I can't see them wanting to pay the severance fee and have to look for a manager who will clearly be below the standard of Mourinho. And he's said that he won't walk, so?

Just my thoughts mate.
