Special one not coming then

chumps league semi against Barca coming up, still in the hunt for the title and gets asked are you going to Man City. what do you think the answer would be.

the fact he did not reply with the usual anything is possible in football line, leads me to believe he actually felt the need to dismiss the rumour.

either coz he is coming, or there is no way on gods earth he is.

I wasn't being defensive as such FB, i was merely putting the same question to a poster who was trying to be clever that's all, as you now are.

The funny yet sad thing is this is almost a carbon copy of the Hughes arguments and the same thing got trotted out that time as well.

Those claiming he was gone were derided as knowing fuck all. "You dont know Khaldoon" "good job our owner thinks differently" etc etc etc.

We all know how that one ended up don't we.

Honestly, i'm not trying to be clever but you put it across as you know it was a fact then got defensive when someone asked if you knew Khaldoun. End of the day mate, just ignore me. I'm being quite petty to be honest, i just find it difficult to understand how so many people think he's gone at the end of the season no matter what and make it come across as they know it for a fact, when the reality is they probably don't

I understand your perspective.

And personally, I am also at a loss to understand how so many people now believe him to be a dead man walking.

That's what I have been led to believe, but that is based on putting faith in people who I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of their info.

I knew it was pretty much a fact Hughes was gone and that Mancini was the new manager.

However, football is the most fickle sport of all.

Jose is another subject issue, but I would simply state that NO MANAGER currently in gainful employment would go on the record to state they were interested in another job currently occupied.

We have a manager and we should get behind that manager because it is the chopping and changing of managers that has weakened our push for glory.
No - as people have pointed out, it's shit managers that have weakened us.

That's what "people" said about Ferguson and then they gave him a bit longer and look what happened next. It is not just managers that weaken a team it is the constant chopping and changing that weakens it because there is no consistency.

If nothing else it will be funny watching Didsbury Dave squirm like a baby when Mourinho is installed as the new United manager in a couple of years.

Seriously, the Mourinho love in on here recently has been embarrassing and this should put an end to it. Obviously it won't but some people are going to look very stupid!

Finally, all this 'Mourinho is the best manager in the world' talk is ridiculous. Comparing Fergie's achievements to Mourinho'sis like comparing Frank Sinatra to Justin Bieber!

People consistently fail to point out that Ferguson's success also coincided with the introduction of the Premier League and the money which came as a result.

It was a match made in heaven for a money-making machine such as United.

Right time, right place. Just like all leaders go on to be perceived as great.

I take it you know Khaldoon?

Do you?

Do you know for a fact he is happy with Mancini?

Do you know Mourinho?

Do you know for a fact he wont come and that Real Madrid wont sack him if the unthinkable happens and he loses those 4 games against Barca?

I await you telling me to commit suicide again for daring to speak against your poster boy!

Let me feed you some facts, first.

Khaldoon and Mancini are good friends. I suspect before any type of supposed sacking, Khaldoon will speak to RM, out of respect, about the perceived 'problems' and to up his game or business will take the precedence over friendship.

This is probably why Mancini hasn't been negative or downcast in his interviews and has talked quite confidently about next season.

At Inter, he wasn't averse to letting the media know he had issues with the club owners. I suspect the same would happen here as this is his personality.

Should Mourinho, as you say, hold out for United.

All City fans will be squirming like babies. As it will mean we missed the boat and we can sit back and watch United maintain their winning dominance.

That's a fact.

Or are you telling me Jose is Mr average and United have reached a decision to take a back seat by appointing him?

Good enough for them, but not good enough for us, what the fuck is all that about.

...he went on to say that he hopes that Mourinho doesn't take over at United because he will come in, bring all his own men in and then fuck off after two years and leave a compete mess.
If that was guaranteed then I could live without Jose at City.

It was quite funny, I asked who else then if not Mourinho to United, and he said it genuinely wouldn't surprise him if they gave it to Giggs given their level of cluelessness behind the scenes.

Now THAT would be amusing.
