I've had points for 46 in a 40 and 35 in a 30 and both times I was on zero points and had never attended or been offered a speed awareness course

Done 2 and an online course for not wearing a seat belt, multiple choice and you have to get 75% !!!!. Coffee and Bourbons, a very intersting 3 or so hours and a free pen. Should be part of the driving test as it's extremely educational. ( for some )

On mine, the instructor asked what situations caused drivers stress. My answer was "Some twat who insists on sticking to the speed limit even though the road is clear". It wasn't one of the right answers.

I've just got notification of a speeding offence in Bury, doing 38 on a 30 limit. I do about 50k per year, I'm a courteous driver, I'll stop for pedestrians to cross if it's older people or parents with kids, I never drive dangerously and never jump red lights, I don't remember the day I was supposedly going over the limit but I almost guarantee I wasn't putting anyone in danger, fuming, but I'll just tell my accountant to reduce my tax by a £100 to pay for the course:-)

That'll be on peel way dual carriage way, should be at least 40 - 50 limit but its a 30, speed cam caught me doing 33 ffs still had to do the course

I recall being on a dual carriageway so you may well be correct, I never speed in built up areas, I'm so annoyed when I see dick heads bombing the roads, really infuriating being done a £100 for either a fine or a course.
