Wouldn't be totally against it.

I remember the opposition to the formation of the Premier League.

People want to see the best players and the biggest clubs, we got lucky.

Be honest though, apart from ourselves, nobody else would want to watch City of 20 years ago?

I hate games against Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Fulham, being hyped up into something they are not to burnish the Premier League facade.

It's a group of elite clubs and the rest are fodder hoping to get lucky every now and again.

People are resistant to change but globalisation has long come to football.

But who chooses who is elite?

Milan who have been avereage for years being aloud in automatically shows exactly what it is.

Also when we got the same teams in the group stages of the champions league the other year people got bored of it, playing real, barca juve etc will become as repetative as playing the same prem teams every year and boring quite quickly.

After not playing brighton for a while getting to go there last year was great, as was days out at huddersfield and then wolves this year.
The change in aways to new teams from the championship comimg up though maybe not glamorous will be more interesting than going over or not being able to fly to spain and staying over 2 times a season to see the same teams for 20 years

I wouldn’t mind the concept. I find most prem games a bit tedious nowadays especially when teams come just to not get beat 3-0!

However the fixture scheduling would be a nightmare. I picture Games at 6/8pm every day of the week. That would put me off.

I think they could jazz our current league up a bit to make it more entertaining. Maybe 4/5 points for an away win or a bonus point for an away goal.

Domestic footy, especially the PL will always be the ultimate test and prize and it should stay that way.
