Reminded me of the 5-2 beating against Leicester a few years ago. I think in 2020. I remember we conceded like 2-3 penalties and just played so poor.

Feels like we are where we were in 2016/17, serious holes in the squad, ageing players unable to play they Pep wants and lots a square pegs. We need a huge rebuild but can’t see it with Pep leaving soonish. We are utterly lacking in creativity at the moment. Come back in a couple of days on here, blues are frustrated, it’s not the loss it’s the performance and we don’t know if it’s the players or Peps tactics that is costing us. Plus the injuries that are not helping.

I don't even think Sporting played well it was all our own fucking doing again! Missed chances, penalty miss, 2 ridiculous penalties :( so frustrating.

We occasionally get the Gods to look kindly - Stonesy's last gaspers - but tonight after the first five minutes they all pissed off, and it was not just shoot yerself in the foot, we blew our bloody legs off!
