Just no more injuries please
ah, fair dos!I worked in the betting industry for 30 years Bert, I'm well aware of exchanges! :-).
The scum players wont have a clue about his tactics either, they struggled with Haags tactics for 18 months so adapting to Amorim is going to be a joy to behold. It was always going to be this way. And if we lose, they'll focus on the positive tactics from Amorim that the rags can take heart in - having more resources at his disposal when he goes to the swamp.
The majority of people don't have a clue about him or his tactics, so this is a lovely way to hype up the game and pretend it has any relevance to the rags.
Would be lovely to give them an absolute battering. If Bernardo's on the pitch from the start there's a good chance of that.

What I mean is that Amorim likes to play the same style as City of sorts, can you imagine the scum playing like City with the players they have? I don't think so. They have been playing Hoof ball counter attack football for years, I cant see them adapting easily if at all.I'm a bit more concerned about this one...I think he's a very good coach and he'll actually manage to do his job there. They've got better people involved in the club at boardroom level now. Ten Hag was clueless and it was brilliant. I think Amorim will handle things a lot better and be supported by better people. Hopefully the pressure of the situation takes its toll but I think, in time (which he hopefully won't get) he would actually turn things around at the circus sadly.
Yes, if there was a big analysis from the squad after the Bournemouth result, this will be an area that has to change.Hope Pep doesn’t persist with Berny,Kovo and Mr Whippy in midfield.
Im curious as to why you think this, it is exactly the same situation as ten haag was in, hes done well in a second tier league, has got alot of hype surrounding him, supposed to be the next big thing, there is nothing to suggest he is going to be any different and this is why i dont get it, everything the press is saying about him they said about ten haag.I'm a bit more concerned about this one...I think he's a very good coach and he'll actually manage to do his job there. But would you have assumed we'd have lost any of those games ahead of time? The Centurions lost vs Wigan.
Sporting are probably better than Bournemouth, let alone Wolves and Southampton, teams we struggled with. A loss in Lisbon is not likely, but it's far from impossible.
When I wrote this, ~40% of voters had this down as a defeat, that's mad to me.How is that mad? Obviously people can have a different opinion, but it’s not “mad”, surely? Not with the way we’re playing and how knackered/in pain many of our players are. And also considering how good Sporting are, with 10 wins out of 10 in the league, scoring 35 and conceding just 3. Also on the same points as us in the CL. Definitely not a mad opinion.
Ten Bob won the dutch league 3 years running and was literally seconds from a champions league final...Im curious as to why you think this, it is exactly the same situation as ten haag was in, hes done well in a second tier league, has got alot of hype surrounding him, supposed to be the next big thing, there is nothing to suggest he is going to be any different and this is why i dont get it, everything the press is saying about him they said about ten haag.
More than 50% of us don't think we will win, that is because our form has been awful. But would you have assumed we'd have lost any of those games ahead of time?
I also never said it was impossible; but I can't get on board with anyone having it down as a defeat, let alone 23% of those who've voted.
And they've won 10/10 conceding only 3 before today. We're up against a really good team today. Surely we can't be unhappy with an away point considering our injuries.More than 50% of us don't think we will win, that is because our form has been awful.
I would snap your hand off for that. And they've won 10/10 conceding only 3 before today. We're up against a really good team today. Surely we can't be unhappy with an away point considering our injuries.

We all know what this team is capable of, but we have been terrible so far this season.
Injuries and loss of form has buggered up our rhythm.
I will settle for a draw
If we play our game to our tempo,& feed the Big Man up front regularly from the beginning. The bookies give Sporting about 23% chance to win. It's not outrageous to think so. I don't think a loss is likely but it is not highly unlikely, say only 5-10%.
