It wasnt boring as such ! If you just admire the skill, movement the closing down etc.
City do all that at the highest level.
I was sat there last night just thinking I never thought in my wildest dreams I would see a City team it so much control.

We controlled and ripped utd a new arse hole on Sunday, it was great to be there. Last night City were in complete control whilst treating it as a training match. So it was more like just watching and appreciating the skill levels.

Sporting didnt try to really attack until the last 15 minutes, City didnt need to score !

But at the end of the day it was bloody boring.

There was a 5 minute period where loads of stuff was flying out of and into the Lisbon section, pints and spitting from the 2nd tier downwards. Young lad in 115 got taken out with a bleeding head after being hit (from quite a distance) so hope he is okay. Was a strange few minutes as a few seats got ripped out and it felt like it might turn nasty but suddenly their ‘conductor’ ordered them to do a Poznan and it all subsided

Sacked it off at the last minute because it was obviously going to be a non-event and I go on holiday today and had a load of shit to do. Glad I did.

One of our fans had a tooth knocked out by a (glass?) bottle in 115. Whilst he was being treated, a young boy who was watching his first game came in with his head split open from a coin.

You have to be a proper, proper **** to throw objects into a crowd of people. That goes for City and Sporting fans.

Seemed a bit strange if it was their fans, as there was a lot around the ground doing it, but no one in their away section which was nowhere near full on the top tier. Think when Celtic did it all the away section did it as well.
