Midway through the second half, a few city fans got their torches on the phones on and were shining them around like at a take that concert... Can anyone explain why this was?

Think you could credit the whole team with that, not sure he was any more anonymous than anyone else. It was a team effort to be so dull.

But as a flair player you wanted him to do something positive like run at the opposition defence, he basically hid himself away for 90 minutes.

I got totally distracted by the commentator constanly saying "SterLINK", "SportTINK", along with mention of "The Premier LeAK" and "VAR Check is ongoINK".
No anti-City bias but another commentator who spends most of the match quoting stats and giving a history lesson including a long list of past SporTINK players.

Job done - rested some key players, minutes for kids and squad. Can’t wait til we have a striker with a killer instinct in front of goal though.

It’s me isn’t it? I didn’t find it boring. Ok not as riveting and ‘scary’ as normal but I enjoyed it.
Mind you I’m still puzzling as to how they smuggled a drum in when we can’t even get a bag larger than A4. That apart it was good.

Please don’t think I don’t appreciate the sentiments of folk who travelled long distances but I have to say that I was ok with the game…sorry if that sounds like an I’m alright Jack don’t mean it to seem like that.

They weren’t city fans they were away fans showing where they were in the stadium, I’m sure other teams have done it in particular Celtic.

They didn’t smuggle the drum in, it was allowed in, however the original owner wasn’t as he kicked off outside lol.

That's a good point just think how much 'stuff' could be hidden inside a drum !

This being a dead rubber really not much to get excited about but thought we did ok TBH
