Sports you just dont 'get'

I love basketball, it's a great game to play but I don't get baseball or American football. They make no sense especially the latter. Also hockey

I personally love cricket. Some of the best autobiographies I have ever read have been cricketing ones purely because so much of it is psychological and reading about players touring the world can be fascinating. That said, I can understand why people aren't mad on it based on some passages of play during tests when you can see a few overs go by with no runs being scored. Tests are the bread and butter though one dayers can be obviously more exciting. 20/20 has been a great introduction.

As for sports I don't get, i'd have to say baseball and American football.

Formula 1 - utter shite (and BBC have it on the radio!!!)

Hockey - oh my fucking God, how often can a ref stop a game?
Wrestling - seriously, what the fuck?

Correct about everything except Cricket which is an absolute masterpiece of Entertainment. I feel as sorry for people who dont understand Cricket as I do for people who haven't seen " The Wire" or "The Sopranos" or who are 40 year old Batchelors looking after there Parents.

The worst by far though is Rugby Union. A game at Amateur level infested by Solicitors and Coppers grabbing each others Dicks in the Scrum.

near where i play football on a cold , wet windy sunday morning, the pitch next to us is Rugby. People clattering into each, stamping on each others hands. its brutal. im way to much of a pussy for that.
