I sense it is indicative of the slow demand. I think any ST holder that wants one can have one.
Think similar will happen with Watford which is now on TV.
Maybe Newcastle away as well. Tuesday night live on the box.

Why are people sure Wembley will still be in rough shape 2 weeks from now? I'm not an expert on gardening so this is more of a question rather than a statement but how long does it take for grass to recover?
How big is an American football pitch compared to our football?Cos our American friends are coming over to reek havoc on it with NFL over the next couple of weeks

Someone mentioned that the reason the grass was damaged was the lack of sunlight as they covered the centre of the pitch for the boxing fight. That won't be the case if there's an NFL match.
No idea personally but this article from a few years back suggests NFL games don't do a pristine football pitch any favours and Wembley is far from pristine now cos of the boxing so will only make it worse

You do realise, I hope, that there's an NFL match being played on it the day before our match? Thanks. It looked ridiculous in the match against Barcelona. If it's anything like that, it might hinder some of our play. Having said that, if they water it well before the match in two weeks, that should mitigate some of the roughness.
Still, there has to be a standard to be maintained by premier league teams with regards to pitch condition. Hosting NFL and boxing matches isn't really an excuse. I guess the fact that Wembley isn't Tottenham's actual stadium makes this a murky area.
Ref what you say about Xmas is backed up mate by previous away over the festive period. Swansea and Palace with farcical times and the date of the game.look at the distances they are asking us to travel midweek, apart from the time off work no way can a train get you back. just pure cost would be off putting but near Christmas is even worse. factor in tv and demand is bound to drop. its not accidental its a clear agenda to attack our club. they know our fan base, they know we are not the wealthiest set of fans, they know we would most likely take fewer fans and so give them another stick to beat us with. I think our team will perform either way but nothing better for them that a sizable vocal away backing behind them. the authorities are scared of Manchester City and it's fucking obvious. otherwise midweek games, which are unavoidable, would all be kept local, for all clubs and their fans.
