AKA - Wembley 1970........City vs. WBA......a few days after 'Horse of the Year' show. Joe Mercer was skathing about it.Should have played this match at either the Emirates or at West Ham. It’s a joke having to play on a ploughed field.

And they had to borrow MK Dons stadium to play Watford in the League CupThe premier rule says you can’t play at more than 2 grounds.

If Spurs had applied to play at Wembley the entire season then K42 would have been binding and the Premier League would have arranged fixtures around other events taking place to ensure Spurs were away on those dates. As this was a ''short notice'' need to hire Wembley then obviously existing contractual events the stadium were due to host cannot be moved. The whole thing is a shambles but I am not holding my breath on any action taken against Spurs.Just had a look at the rules and can’t find that one, just one about it being up to the Premier League board. (Rules K5 and K6). However there is an argument that they are breaking rule K4.2.
K4. No Club shall have or enter into a ground-sharing agreement in respect of its Stadium unless the agreement contains legally enforceable provisions to the effect that:
K.4.1. the playing of the Club’s League Matches at the Stadium shall always take precedence over the activities of the other party to the agreement; and
K.4.2. the Club shall have the ability to postpone other activities scheduled to take place on the pitch in the 48 hours immediately preceding the kick-off of a League Match where, in the reasonable opinion of the Club, there is a risk that such activity might result in the subsequent postponement or abandonment of the League Match.

Ideal chance for sky to show the ballet on ice & the 1970 cup final before Monday's game, poor conditions against Spurs & at Wembley, historical & topical but they'll probably be all over Kane as usual. At least we won ;) could be an omen!
As long as they don't show that Ricky fucking Villa goal again.....Ideal chance for sky to show the ballet on ice & the 1970 cup final before Monday's game, poor conditions against Spurs & at Wembley, historical & topical but they'll probably be all over Kane as usual.
Nailed on at least 2/3 times sadly and. there'll be no replay of MacKenzie's screamer. As long as they don't show that Ricky fucking Villa goal again.....
Why they played at 2 different clubs in one season?
