Spurs’ new stadium

It would be amusing watching WHU extort cash from Spurs, especially after the stadium bidding process, but I can't see it happening. I think it'll just get postponed.

If it were to happen (highly unlikely), it would be the owners of the stadium - E20 STADIUM LLP - who would be extorting cash from Spurs! West Ham are only tenants.

The lack of transfer activity all makes sense now. At the end of last season there was talk of a budget for new players (limited funds but understandable with a new stadium) or Pochettino was off. Reckon they've put that money aside for other things.

lets hope so but i will not hold my breath, rules are rules for a reason and any club breaking them should be punished know matter who or what ????

heard they have asked the premier league to swap the manchester city game from home to away and offer all the spurs fans going to the game free travel and match tickets ???? well what about the manchester city fans who have booked travel and tickets to the away game will you offer them a free special and match ticket when you play the game at your new ground ???

also heard that the ground could even be later in finishing and could be for months and months after christmas and even next season, and spurs have missed judged the time scales of the work when signing it off and put the plan in place for the new season to the premier league know this was never going to be reached, so questions must be asked did they lie to the premier league and cover there backs and blame the company building it, and like i said deadlines in construction have to be met both by spurs in finance and the time scale in the work being signed off and if one misses the deadline trouble starts

I think that we cannot play at ours as it mean having 4 away games in the run up to the end of the season and 3 away games on trot

Why do you believe that?

Sure, cosmetically, there is still quite a bit to do. But functionally, the stadium would have been usable by mid September but for the issue with critical safety systems identified by the first test event. The interior bowl is nigh on complete. Likewise the roof. I've seen comments to the effect that the seats aren't all in and the pitch hasn't even been laid yet. Well, both those jobs can be done in a matter of days. And there are still 4.5 weeks until the Liverpool game. If you've ever followed a construction project closely, you'll know that, more often than not, the building looks far from ready until the final few days. Check out pictures of Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano stadium at the same stage of construction last year. You'd have said exactly the same about that.....that there's no way it would be ready for a mid September opening. But it was. So would new WHL have been but for the aforementioned systems failure.

A huge, complex construction project on a tight schedule overrunning by a couple of months is most definitely not a fuck up of major proportions.
It looked alright from 36000 feet in June.
