It's the same company that did the tannoy system in the lower tier at our place, I heard.
No one else heard the tannoy system .;-)

I know i'm going slightly off at a tangent here, but how the fuck does a half competent spark wire a fire alarm system, which is basically a number of 2 core loops, wrong to such an extent that the whole lot needs stripping out and starting again?
3 away games over Christmas? Give over.Switch the Spuds and Palace games round, is the obvious answer. We would then play Spuds at home on the 28th October, Palace away on the 22nd December, Spuds away on the 20th April, Palace at home on the 13th April.

I have worked there, out of over 300 'circuits' for fire alarms only 30 work. The agencies who are supplying the electricians are using people who dont understand english, aren't qualified and buy there tools from lidl at dinner time. the agencies are making a fortune and the job is suffering. As a result they have upped the money to £350 per shift (agencies making even more money) but still employing muppets. It's not the sparkies that are the problem, it's the unskilled labour masquerading as sparkies supplied by agencies. Someone should investigate how much the agencies have made out of this.
I’d missed the fact that we had Leicester away on Boxing Day. Looking more and more like it’ll just get called off and rearranged for later in the season which, if they are going to do that, should be done sooner rather than later.3 away games over Christmas? Give over.
The only time it can be guaranteed to be played is the week after we play them at home in April - and we probably need that week to play Utd away due to City/Utd participation in the FA Cup QF. Playing Spurs tgat week really is a non starter as far as City are concerned as we need it to play other postponements.I’d missed the fact that we had Leicester away on Boxing Day.
