Spurs’ new stadium

I know they think they are doing right by fans, but they aren't really are they?

What about train tickets and hotel expenses that people now have to forfeit, they should have told Spurs to do one.
Well that would be nice, but for all we know the club had little choice but to agree. If the club was to take responsibility for all expenses, how does that work? If someone has booked a 5 star hotel for 2 nights is the club liable? What if they've paid for a first class plane ticket? I know this doesn't apply for 99.9%, or maybe even 100% at times, but it's the precedent that the club will be reluctant to set. Now this could be avoided if we stopped handing out away tickets to corporate and tourists!

I would say something in the small print of the T&Cs of all fixtures that they are subject to change maybe 4-6 weeks ahead of the game...so booking travel is not advised. I know this doesnt happen much this side of xmas but the cups regularly change games at short notice.

There has been a few in recent seasons.

Fans should note that FA CUP QF 18/19 is on the 16th March...the same weekend as United Away....

So people lose out on hotel and travel cost, we get to play on a shity pitch with potential injury to players and face playing 2 games in 3 days. Seems like the best solution all round.

I was told I shouldnt book travel/ accommadation as a fixture could be changed a week before the game and to take it up with the Premier League

Any truth to them failing to secure a naming rights deal? Would be a huge financial hit.

So Monday 29th Spurs at Wembley.

Saturday 3rd November Southampton at home.

League Cup round 4 is week commencing Monday 29th October.

What happens if we manage to sneak past Oxford in round 3?

This is the bit that pisses me off.
Is the Soton game poss gonna get moved as well now as a consequence of this. I assume it would be if we beat Oxford. But we'll have to wait with no communication from City or the prem indicating it's a possibility fans should take into account.

An 8 hour round trip on a coach with no booze. What’s not to like?

Thankfully I will be sat at home watching it at home with a nice glass of Vino!

For those affected though, I agree it’s shite!

I will be in a bar in Fuerteventura ... but agree, for those affected it’s shite

Isn't a Monday night an official PL match day so we could always have had the League Cup game sandwiched in anyway.
Sympathy to those blues who have lost out due to the change from Sunday. I think Levy, and I've read his announcement about the whole stadium delays, comes from the same stable as Ryanair .
