Christ......that was crap! Truly awful pitch. The shambolic performances of our two headless chickens at full back seemed to spread through the team. That was third division Sunday morning football standard from all involved. 3 very lucky points bagged. Forget about it quick and move on.

I don't think Mendy is confident following his injury and didn't really fancy this pitch-also pulled out of a couple of challenges. May take a bit of time to get to his Monaco level.

They were restricted to 1 clear chance and the team should've been out of sight before then. Stones, Laporte and Fernandinho were immense in the second half and the organisation that the team has in them for those periods has been impressive. That's spurs, pool and arsenal away done without conceding and the teams' best player not started in any. No other team is close in both quality and depth.
We've still got to beat the whistling wankers and quality and depth won't be a deciding factor, unfortunately.

Personally I though Bernardo and Raheem has very good games. Bernardo rarely gave the ball away and Raheem scared them all night long.

Fortunately for Mendy his arm is as clueless as his footballing brain.
The one negative for me from tonight was his performance.
