Arsenal, Chelsea,Leicester ,Spurs United..
Almost every game we see the same pattern that teams have now figured out.
Our slow, slow ,pass pass pass then pass some more results in forward players bullied by strong defenders. Slow midfielders easily by passed than a defence that gets ripped apart by pace and movement.

We are not working effectively as a deadly unit it is true. Patience blues. Once the rhythm is in place the switch will be flicked.

I am more concerned about some players mentality. They are winners no doubt. Sterling is having all sorts of issues. The way we build up starting from the back is so slow. Release the hand break pep but until then get the correct defence together to help. Walker, Dias, stones/Laporte, Zin is needed to steady the ship. Stop tinkering with the defence and build the wall until the front players are effective.

Id have had Edozie before him for a start.The kid has much more awareness and intelligence.

thats so true you heard it from the commentary " last season that would have been a booking/offside" no its either a foul /offside or its manipulating the outcome

A loss can happen, but 3 in a row without scoring a goal and the feeling that a goal is not coming! That's worrying

Something need to change, maybe starting by less endless passing in the final third, and be quick when the opponent is not back and organised

As for Mendy, the adventure should stop.

Ferran torres is not a world beater, Jesus Navas 2.0 or Adam Johnson, good as a squad player but nothing more.

Torres finished last season our best player but his confidence was blown by Pep when he was overlooked for the Final. We shouldn't have played without a DM but if anyone deserved to be shoe horned in it was Torres not Sterling

Fingers crossed we get kane and mendy never plays again those two changes in the side today and we’d of won comfortably.

take everyone of mendy’s mistakes or bad play out of that and it bout we played well considering the poor preseason and lack of fitnesses

a draw was probably a a more fair result but if one of those 3 chances at the start go in we’d of won easy

Mendy still has 2 years left on his contract. We won’t sign a left back until he’s gone. We hope that will be next summer, but don’t bank on it.
