Defensive midfield and Left Back continue to be weak spots that the club turns a blind eye to for some reason.

Zin is the bonafide left back, and a good one too, also Rodri is fine, massively underrated

Ake and Mendy will never be up to the standard required. Fernandinho I love him, but his legs have gone. in away games against energetic midfields he should not be starting. Other than that rest i put down to the lads who have been away on the summer tournaments not being up to speed.

Voted for a loss when i saw the dream team of Alty and Atwell, and Alty was his usual disgrace when officiating us but i can't even blame him for this shit show.
Rags, Dippers and Chavs hit the ground running, we looked unready.
Team selection was a joke and just like last year, we simply are pathetic in front of goal.
We have a keeper who does not make many saves and is often out of position, Ake/Mendy/Cancelo are simply no where near the required level, we offer absolute nothing in front of goal with Torres his usual invisible self, Sterling picking up where he left off and Mahrez hot/cold depending on how he feels and our midfield is simply too slow.
Grealish will be a great buy for us but we are more in need of a LB, World Class striker and DM.
If we do not address the striker situation we will finish 3rd at best this season. Now lost 5 of our last 7 competitive games

I voted for a lose before I saw the back four, I would have voted again if they let me.

Our attack has been piss poor for a while. It’s too robotic and we just repeat the same patterns over and over again.

If you stop the underlap on the wing where we usually get a player to the byline before cutting the ball back, you stop City.

What’s even more frustrating is this keeping the ball for the sake of it shite. How many runs did Torres make without getting picked out? How many times did Mendy or Sterling literally walk with the ball when they had acres of space to run into?

No doubt someone will point out that we were the top scorers in the league last season. However, how many games did we fail to score in? That’s becoming a worry.

Maybe bc we try to keep it lower and think someone will run on to it. You can’t really cross high to beat the first defender when you have short people in the middle. Need to get the ball over and down which is harder then it seems whatching the game in tv
