That’s the spirit … c’mon pal it’s the first game .Most likely at least 9 points behind by the time we get beat at Anfield.

Leicester, Chelsea and Dippers away, were already 3 behindAre you always this positive?
Mendy was NOT a bad signing. We've just been incredibly unlucky with his injuries, and he's not found his best form since.Look at mendy today and consider what we paid...
Well the starting 11 wernt good enough were they and Jesus came on as did KDB, kind of puts pay to your argumant somewhat. How do people not realise that the team (Bernie aside) was picked on prep time? Many ot the squad have literally walked through the door, including Jesus.
Bernardo played there last year in an identical game which we lost. He’s not the reason we didn’t win today. Not taking chances when on top (who says we don’t need a striker) and not being able to combat counter attacking teams killed us. No kdb, Foden, stones, Walker, rodri. It’s why I wasn’t overly confident to start with despite reading by one poster how we’d win as we finished x amount of points ahead of spurs. Fans will be a factor this year. We need to get at it quickly
Don't be drawn into a false sense of security, fans are back and our opposition are all hungrier and much strongerPositive view lads.
we lost 2 drew 3 and won 5 of first 10 last year…. And looked what happened…
Tell you what mate, I've set a reminder on my phone, let's come back to this at Christmas yeah?Leicester, Chelsea and Dippers away, were already 3 behind
I think that may be the point lolwe did last season. :-)
He never will. He was brilliant the first few games pinging great fist time balls into the box. But that went after his injuries.Mendy was NOT a bad signing. We've just been incredibly unlucky with his injuries, and he's not found his best form since.
The determined bounce back after the champions league defeat has been two just as bad performances.Fixtures come out. Tough opener away at Spurs, what do we do? Give most of the team an extended holiday and pick a team that put zero effort in.
But they weren't fit enough to start. I trust pep and his team to know who is physically capable of playing.Well the starting 11 wernt good enough were they and Jesus came on as did KDB, kind of puts pay to your argumant somewhat.
I hope your right, but less of calling people a fanny wipe, no need for personal abuseTell you what mate, I've set a reminder on my phone, let's come back to this at Christmas yeah?
It's a marathon not a sprint.
and he gets £5 million a year , daylight robbery.Mendy still has 2 years left on his contract. We won’t sign a left back until he’s gone. We hope that will be next summer, but don’t bank on it.
The kids wont get a look in,until the early rounds of the Cups.Far from ideal.disappointed edozie wasnt in the bench tbh
We've definitely had worse signings. Can't say I'm surprised. We can't afford to give teams a 10 point start like last season so things need to change quickly.
There simply must be a better left back within the academy than Mendy. I was embarrased for him today. He has to be the worst pound for pound signing in our history and should be nowhere near the first team ever again.
Maybe it would, isn’t where the game was lost though. No zinny, Walker, stones, kdb, Foden and no striker probably hurt us more. Went as expected for me but too easy to use Bernardo as a reason. Spurs didn’t have their best player…His ball retention and work rate would have helped us I believe.
You have my word I'll stop offering fanny wipes out.I hope your right, but less of calling people a fanny wipe, no need for personal abuse
