No, we don't. We need a Mahrez or Sterling quality winger - as frustrating as both Mahrez or Sterling were at times - they were both far better than the options we currently have available on the wings.

I used to wonder that many a time at Maine Road.

We went through a period of not winning for ages in the 90s. I can't remember the game in particular where we were that bad that when we got a corner we celebrated like we'd just won the league, it was pissy funny. One of the best things about being a blue is our collective sense of humour camaraderie and banter. It was at it's best in our darkest moments and helped get us through all the bad times.

Mahrez was here for 6 yrs, Sterling 7 yrs, Doku is in his 2nd season and Sav in his first.

I could turn round and say we need a Yaya, D Silva and Barry because our current midfield of KDB, Gundog and Lewis aren’t good enough.

But you have to put things in context, all players are different and all players bring different attributes to the table.

Don’t forget many blues we’re giving Rodri dogs for his first 18 months at City.

in the league first season here and both had over 100 prem games under there belt as well. Comparing players with no seasons under PL/pep to those who were 6-7 years into the squad, system etc is just daft. 99% are always gonna look worse. (1% being Haaland etc)
