In Akanji we have a CH who can match Son for pace. Be interesting for sure but this may enable us to match their counter better than we have previously. Do that and match Kane up in midfield and we can control them. First of all this scenario will not happen but;
It would be interesting to play 3 at the back and Rodri and Phillips. With Phillips detailed to mark Kane as he drops into midfield to link up play on the break
Kane is the only one to create and provide, cut that out and you have total dominance.
The back 5 of Spurs is then put under constant pressure.
Last year Kane at the Etihad was superb, his positioning and movement created havoc when Spurs managed to break the press.

The old fashioned man marking ..follow him to the toilets if you have to Phillipd. ...that should be the command when playing Kane
