I have to agree with you about Ederson, i've never understood all the hype about him, he's great playing it out from the back but when it comes to saving shots his attemps sometimes seem a bit halfhearted to say the least.

I understand the primary responsibility for a keeper is not conceding, but that isn't the way we're built.

Guardiola has, and always will have, a keeper who could in theory play an outfield position - it's just the way he works. Ederson is without doubt the best for that.

We're not exactly shipping goals are we - we've conceded 2 more than the Dippers

Oh my. I think what sums up your post is as highlighted above. Eddie is an intrinsic part of the team & to say he’s half-hearted is a joke. I can’t believe some of the things I read on this forum. Can only assume it’s PTSD
