Our last convincing win against Spurs was the home match when we were on that incredible run & Gundogan was scoring for fun, he actually killed Davison Sanchez in that one..

With Kulusevski and Richarlison back, and Bentancur nearing a return they'll find some form again. Bentancur has that quality and drive in the middle of the park which gives them a bit more balance.

They've been shocking though. Kane's always a threat but Son has been abysmal. We're expecting him to turn up against us because he usually does, but we should be hammering this Spurs team. They didn't show up for a home derby!

The low block works against us because we concede too many easy goals. Teams have done this for years now but we always found a way. Now managers must look at the games like Everton and Brentford and just try and replicate it. A bit of pace or a quality striker and we don’t look comfortable. Having said that, as we absolutely have to win this game, I think we will on Thursday. We need to start the game like we did against Liverpool in the cup.

Thats why those who call for Walker to be included to handle son are off the mark. Walker often gets caught upfield when the oppo break. On Saturday Rashford got a one on one with fucking Rodri chasing him down the right flank. Garnacho had a couple breaks too.
We dont pay a flat back 4 so its usually up to the CB to cover any breaks.

Walker barely offers anything going forward and for the amount of times he gets caught up field I just don't get it.

If he plays on thursday he should be told to monitor the ball in behind to Son and prioritise that all game, not bombing forward/getting caught in midfield when his man is baring down on goal as was the case on multiple occasions on saturday.

Pep partly to blame too as he will be instructing him to attack n drive forward, but there has to be a point where logic is used and we get back to basics.

First half will be cagey probably 0-0. Both teams are second half teams so that’s when the match really starts. It’s going to tough, I’ve a feeling it’ll be a scoring draw but wouldn’t be surprised if Kane or Son decide the game. They usually play well at our place.
