And after talking about how unhelpfull it is to players like Crouch to be talked about in the press in regards to moves, he is once again telling all media outlets he wants Beckham in January, despite Beckham playing for someone else at this time.

To be fair to Redknapp, Spurs were bottom of the league when he took over.

It's a great pity that you fail to realise that our Chairman, Daniel Levy, is the one who actually controls the purse strings at Spurs.

And seeing as he's probably the most astute CEO in the Premier League, I think our financial future is in very safe hands indeed.
