We can confirm that Emmanuel Adebayor has been given permission to return home for personal reasons. This is a private matter and so we will not be providing any further comment.
???

Adebayor and Kaboul have been ostracised by teammates and coaching team. The tipping point was a dressing room bust up between Adebayor and Kane. Kaboul took the side of Adebayor, the rest backed up Kane. Ever since that incident a few weeks ago, Kaboul has not played due to 'personal reasons', while Adebayor has not played due to 'injury and illness' and is now going home for 'personal reasons'. Sounds like he is on his way out.

I'd prefer to think this is the reason, nothing better than a witchdoctor curse .

Adebayor causing problems? I find that hard to believe. Next you'll tell me he's not been trying very hard since he got a contract...

The sad thing is, he's genuinely one of the best strikers in the world on the very rare occasions when he's motivated.

In his first 4 games for us he was immense. Our best attacker and at times even our best defender, clearing off the line on more than one occasion. He was unplayable in the 4-2 win against Arsenal and I remember one astonishing run in that game where he took on half their team and laid it on a plate for SWP who missed the chance. As far as one-off matches with only 3 points at stake go, outside of memorable derby wins that remains one of my favourite games ever.
Yup, then he was outstanding for his first few months on loan at Spurs, helping them into an implausible title race the year we won the league. Then he stopped trying for the next two years, then decided to start trying again when Sherwood took over, carrying Spurs to a few wins single handedly, despite Sherwoods complete lack of tactics. Then after a month or so, stopped trying again and hasn't had a decent game since. He seems to try for about one month every two years, in which time he is completely unplayable, then as soon as people start congratulating him for playing well, he stops and becomes utterly useless.

Spurs do well to even loan out Adebayor to somewhere. He is shit, unmotivated, aging and earning around £100k per week.

Spot on. We can't say we weren't warned by the Arsenal fans about his attitude when we signed him.

To be fair, Arsenal fans are, on the hole, bitter and clueless. Thus, it is hard to take what they say seriously.

To be really fair, anyone with half a brain could see Adebayor had attitude issues, we didn't need a bunch of numbnut tarquin's to tell us that.

Based on what? A falling out with Bendtner and him having his head turned by an Italian club (Inter?)? I can't think of any more issues he had at Arsenal.
