I noticed during the Arsenal v Spurs game,that the 10 yard rule has been suspended,every free kick to Arsenal,Son was allowed to stand 2yards from the ball.ls this rule suspended for every team or is it a favour just for Spurs.

That's two very similar penalty claims he has had turned down in successive weeks now, maybe refs are getting wise to him? Against Arsenal the defender was stupid putting hands on him but annoying as it is you can't blame Kane for going down, it's a no lose situation really.

Which is a major problem with the game.

He should have been booked for diving and refs should also receive a punishment for giving soft free kicks to players who go down looking for a free kick from minimal contact.

Who actually does review the referees' performances? Do the teams have a form of rebuttal to the FA or PGMOL? Seems like the same knows ignore the rules of the game, weekly.

3/4/5 years ago, used to like watching Spurs. Think they have massively regressed, over those years.
Sure they got to CL final, but their football has definitely gone of the boil.

Spurs - soon to be Top of the Hotel League. They are aiming high. 23 storeys apparently. Levy will be happy.

Never mind winning trophies let them get down to the proper business of real estate.

Spurs, who had all the answers for right back, actually haven`t and are now exposed. Walker left for career development, to win trophies and better remuneration. He and City were widely mocked at the time because that is the easy, unthinking way of far too many. He has since achieved all 3 and City have gone from strenghth to strength.

Meanwhile, Spurs will be heading in a similar direction to Arsenal. It was a blood and thunder derby for them on Sunday but not enough quality from either side to win the match.

Think everyone had them guaranteed for top 3 this season before a ball was kicked. But they've struggled.

I rather thought they were running out of ideas towards the end of last season. They started to look very predictable, and there doesn't appear to be much difference with them so far in the early part of this season.

I just wonder if Pochettino has had enough and is looking for a way out?

Agreed. I think he has lost his love of the game. He needs a sabbatical. And then a new challenge. I am not sure it is about trophies, I just think he wants a break.

Spurs will recover.
