As in every pre match and match thread, the nays have it.

We'll have 10 - 15 shots, but we need to increase the on target number from the 4 or 5 we had against Brighton. Put Lloris under pressure - he doesn't play well against us.

Ederson

Danilo Kompany Laporte Mendy

Dinho

Kdb Bernard

Sterling Kun Sane

For the away leg. Bernard to reproduce his deeper lying role that he played at anfield.

You might be right,
but only once in this season the pairing KDB & Bernardo startet as AMs (Leicester away...).
Bernardo did start 22 times as right AM, where KDB plays, too.

Anyway, there are many starting options for Pep, and that's exactly what we need at this point.

Yes but how many starts has KDB actually had this season?

Interesting to see if Pep will adopt a more cautious approach tomorrow similar to the Scousers away in the League with the full backs instructed not to bomb forward. Would love to finish the tie off tomorrow but a score draw would not be the worst result in the world.

We've been cautious for weeks now. To be fair we've barely been conceding but have been playing a possession based game that's been dare I say it quite boring at times. Bernardo out wide ahead of Sane no doubt to keep the ball.

We'll need Sané and Sterling both on tomorrow to pin the spuds full backs. Do that and they're completely one dimensional both in pressing and attack.

I totally agree (and think we'd have run 3 or 4 in against a poor Brighton had we played that way) I'd be really surprised if he starts Leroy though but hopefully he does!
