We've been cautious for weeks now. To be fair we've barely been conceding but have been playing a possession based game that's been dare I say it quite boring at times. Bernardo out wide ahead of Sane no doubt to keep the ball.

You mean cautious against the smaller teams,or maybe just maybe Pep is conserving energy for games like this and the handbrake comes off..

Have a feeling for a 3-1 or 4-1 and finishing it off early. so then we can play and rest a few for the home leg and the busy schedule..

At this stage of the season Zinchenko getting injured is worse than say loosing Dave or even Kev for a couple of games.

Mendy just ain't going to fix that side I would play Danilo, Stones, Vinny & Laporte.

Zinchenko hopefully back for the home 2nd leg??

Vinny to play home & away. Dave also out & Leroy in but that won't happen, does Dave keep his place not in my opinion this is Leroys time..

I totally agree (and think we'd have run 3 or 4 in against a poor Brighton had we played that way) I'd be really surprised if he starts Leroy though but hopefully he does!
Can’t see it myself. Sane will play against palace. I think pep goes with his tried and tested Bernardo and sterling out wide tomorrow with kev and a very subpar Silva in the middle.

Sorry guys but negative prediction for tomorrow I think Spurs will come out and blitz us we will be 2 goals down early on but we will score one vital away goal so 1-2 result.

The away goal will be enough for us to go through the tie though as I think we will win comfortably at home.

VAR is in use. It makes it much harder and more obvious to all should we get cheated again. I know the system isn't perfect but is a lot better than leaving it totally to bent officials. Last year's first offside goal and the disallowed goal at our's would definitely get reversed. Here's hoping for a fair result - whatever that may be.
Lol, the VAR panel are those same bent officials, but in a darkened room where no one can see them

kane, son, and company will be good for one goal at home, and we'll get 1 to 4 depending what mood we're in,
but no way to predict it closer as the boys are struggling to finish.

this is what i'd do to start,
a practical, modified 4-3-3, and no it's not the venerable 2-2-1-2-1-2, lol
i would have stones and vinny very conservative and the rest very aggressive

Surprised to see so many people on here 'happy' VAR is in the Champions League...If anything it's another tool they can use to f*ck you over. I hate it. I expect to get done by it tomorrow.
Indeed we saw VAR CL style in Schalke with the Ota handball but also now forgotten on one of our goals going back to Laporte winning a header just outside our own box, interestingly it was said the dipper goal v Soton where Salah was offside would have still counted as VAR dosen't look that far back in play!!!!!

Is there any point in us showing up?

Reading this thread I think we should just give you a bye.

Do you reckon it is too late to get my money back?
