Going to be a tough game. Spurs will be full of themslves in the new stadium and the media seem to be behind them.

City I think will tire towards the end so I am hoping we can get some goals out of the first 20 mins and hold onto that.

Spurs 3 - 2 City

I think much has been made of the 6 1/2 days rest for Spurs and the the 2 1/2 days rest for us.

While it's true we have had less preparation and recovery time, the players have used good game management in each of the last few games to see out wins. It would have been a significant impact if it had gone to extra time/penalties on Sunday.

We must show good mental strength and self belief in what is likely to be a high intensity stadium atmosphere. With the right attitude and confidence we can do it.

C'mon City!

...I think it works in our favour somewhat as it is a no lose situation for us. Noone expects us to win. All the pressure is on you.

I get your point, but there is enough to lose for spurs as well in such a big match.
You surely don't want a defeat in the 2nd match inside your new home after waiting half an eternity for the new fortress...

Anyway, some good contribution on here, very welcome.

Now what about a predicted spurs lineup for tonight?
And who are the 3-4 spurs players on top form right now?
Who could score?

The media won’t be on the pitch

When have City tired this season? With the Duracel Bunny darting around midfield, it doesn't happen. It's only defensive mistakes that cost us.

We are a better and more consistent team than Spurs, but I think the nervousness of some on here is based on the fact that Spurs have some proven match winners in their best eleven and it's a cup completion. If both teams turn up with their A-Game - then it's no contest in terms of overall play.

One thing's for sure, we'll go in with a plan and stick to it. We just have to be ruthless and pressurise Lloris. They'll be running left to right and right to left across the edge of our box and looking for the dangling leg to start their dives from. I'm anticipating 55/60 per cent possession for us and slightly fewer shots than normal.

No idea what the roll-out/roll back in pitch is going to be like.
