Spurs Vs City Post Match Discussion thread

To be honest i didn't feel that Spurs were any threat whatsoever for 70 minutes (until Defoe's introduction) , but then enjoyed a short 'purple patch' during which our defending was poor , to say the least ....

Kompany maybe could ask one or two questions of himself for the first couple of Spurs goals , and Nastasic might have done better for the third ..... but overall we completely threw that game away.

I agree so I don't get this Mancini slating because it just didn't look too good for Spurs until they scored.

To be fair to Kompany, that cross from Bale was just perfect. And against Defoe, the very same, he tried to block it, didn't succeed but what a goal that was.

At half time I thought we needed to have taken a 2nd goal. We were just dead on our feet after an hour

Chill out everyone leagues been over since February so just look forward to Wembley and the summer when we get rid of the dross.
Not according to one or two threads in the main forum. Even as recently as this past week people were still posting that we had a chance of the title. I'd imagine that those threads will die a slow death now, thank fuck.

I am not one of Mancini's biggest supporters, but even so, I blame the manager for that.

We were cruising at half time, despite Dzeko being woeful. But they made changes and got grip on the game and Mancini sat there and did nothing. Did he get off his seat at all???

He sat back and watched it happen. Utter bollocks from the manager.
