About the "non-offside".

Rose should have let dzeko get his shot off last night. Edin would have probably put it in the carpark.

Thinking about his finishing last night you're probably right!

It's not just last night though is it? He scores some very important goals but his goal to chance ratio must be awful at te moment. God knows how many shots he had last night, it seemed like about 15 with about three on target. When he arrived I thought his finishing was deadly with either foot, now he's just incredibly erratic.

-- Thu Jan 30, 2014 5:23 pm --

Exactly, but compare that to the bullshit split screen thing BT used at half time where he was literally three yards onside. They clearly had the timing out and one picture was a good few frames ahead of the other. As I said in another thread, was that incompetence or were they deliberately being arseholes?

Well you got the ratio right (1:5): Edin had 10 shots, with two on target. Both his shots on target led to goals being scored.

His shooting was pretty awful last night but he did also play some excellent football; he remains the most frustrating footballer that I think I have ever seen in a City shirt.

Both look offside in that picture, and I thought Adebayor touched it anyway

Pretty clear that it was onside.
Well it wasn't onside because Adebayor is clearly off and was 100% interfering with play. Dawson, very tight probably level, my issue is that BT used bogus footage to show Dawson yards onside, which was definitely not the case.

I thought Tim Sherwood showed true class last night in his comments - he's far too honest to be a manager :-) . He could have blamed the defeat on the ref's decisions but he was prepared to admit they were outclassed by a great team. You can bet Pardew wouldn't have done that

Adebayor however showed what a twat he truely is. Pushing Toure off the pitch when he was substituted and the ref letting him get away with murder. Can't believe that Spurs are putting all their faith in this guy.

They're not. We're still putting 40 thousand a week in his pocket too, apparently. :-(

Sorry was only fishing! :-)

This'll be the goal ruled offside from the free kick awarded for blatant dive from Rose they've neglected to mention then? Funny as fuck when it was quite rightly flagged off.
