Spurs Vs City Post Match Thread

Hart, Zab, Vinny, Mangala, Clichy could all justifiably play if fit. Then we have the injuries to Bony, Silva, Kelechi, and now Yaya has done his hamstring.

There won't be enough space on physioroom to list all the injuries. In addition Kun looks completely out of sorts, and he is our only fit striker.

The club is an extra wing of Manchester Hospital.

Diabolical 2nd half.
Let down by the officials with 2 offside goals but that was absolute dogshit.
No fight or passion. Otemendi and Willy arent good enough.Stirling needs benching when Silva is fit.

trying to be a bit of reason..........we currently don't have: hart, zab, kompany, clichy, mangala, silva, delph and bony all injured, Sergio not firing at all and raheem looking out of sorts. a full and fit squad would not have been beaten imo and certainly not 4-1! and to all the two faced people wingeing about txiki and the summer signings really need to chill the fuck out!! sterling, otamendi, de bruyne, delph, for the first team was a stunning window and every fan on here agreed!! show some steel, it has been a shit day at the office and quite rightly we will get pelters from the media etc but things have been worse and we WILL get our mojo back!

We were just bad today, really bad. Pellers made the correct call in removing Yaya early whether through injury or because it was a tactical change because he was well off the pace of the match. But the error he made was NOT bringing on Nasri as a direct replacement. For me this is when Spurs now a goal ahead stepped up the pace and if anything we took a step further back.

Aguero was isolated today and this was compounded by the fact he is still struggling for form. We just didn't seem to have any energy and defensively we were poor. There were 3 Argentines in our defence so language shouldn't have been an issue, but still they played like complete strangers. The two Ferns in front should have made up for this, but whilst I think they both played well it just wasn't happening for us all over the park.

The only positive from today was seeing Roberts get a run out, hopefully it will be the first of many. We needed to go to another level, but today when we changed up a gear there was a lot of noise but no appreciable difference in tempo. What a difference a fit David Silva makes to the way we play and perform.

I have been saying this for ages now : we need a big mouth in the team, a real captain in the mold of a Paddy V.
One who will drive full commitment from his teammates when the going gets tough.
Unfortunately, we have no-one in this squad to bare this inspiring role.

At the moment, we look spineless...almost out of ideas when teams are coping against us well like today...our build up is still fairly predictable and we just cant put away our chances. Okay we're missing David and vinny and the decisions were shite but ffs we were outclassed today.

To make matters worse, them cunts will be top around 5 o clock.

Wednesday is now important for the players and the manager to get a win at the very least.

We are spineless, that's the point.

We have to ask why conceding our first goal v Juve, after 5 successive clean sheets, has suddenly led to a collapse in organisation and concentration. No bottle in our team at all.
Well we also lost both central defenders within about 45 minutes of that goal as well, which plays a huge part

He's the type of player who can create something out of nothing by himself, we don't really have that, Aguero is the closest but he's contracted Torres Syndrome. I feel if Navas and Sterling continue to non produce, Roberts has to get a go but as you said, its Pellegrini, Nasri will go out wide before Roberts.

Roberts is a hugely talented young player, what do we have to loose, let's get him in from the start on Saturday.
