Just noticed, this fixture has sold out. That's fookin brill for a mid week game down there.

TBF to spurs dont they always sell out ?. They are one of the best supported clubs in europe.

I'm on about our allocation.
We didn't take up the full away allocation there, we never do. But we sold out what we were given.

can't get to this game, worse thing is watching on tv. bloody cameraman is all over the place. show the bloody play ffs rather than the managers, corner flags and shit.

And, whilst on the subject, given everyone has a massive telly these days, why can't they show the whole pitch, so you can see runs off the ball and other off the ball stuff. Why do they have to follow play around like you're looking through binoculars. I can understand it in the days of black and white and 12" TV's - they had to zoom in so you could see anything or it would be too small. But now with a 50" telly, they could easily stop the panning around an just show the whole pitch all the time, It would be marvellous and huge improvement imho.
This is something that probably will happen (development and use of 360 degree cameras is currently underway). They will more than likely offer it via a red-button option, similar to player-cam, rather than make it available as the standard viewing option.

Bit nervous tonight, the truth be told.

Yep ,too much confidence around and Spurs are on a big high at the moment. Anything but our best won't do tonight. And I hope Vinnie is fit.

Another magical thinker, do you think the fans having confidence somehow curses the team?

It's an honest question because that is all I can deduce from statements like yours

I'm nervous too, it's such an opportunity with Arsenal drawing at Southampton. I know it's away from home but I think if we play with high tempo and everyone grafts hard we will surely win.

Funny games such as these now, I always think we'll either blow them away or grind out a narrow victory, depends on how Spurs play but I actually hope they give us no respect and go for it, that way I think the players are all sure to respond to the challenge.

Good news is Negredo is scoring every game and Aguero has bounced right back, and Yaya is due now.

C'mon City!

hahaha that almost sounds aggressive ! Pre the Watford game the thoughts were more about whether we would get 10 and I guess that feeling had permeated itself to the players on the basis of the way they played in that first half.

I would hope that lesson,if indeed it was needed, was well learned but I think if the team start sloppily against a good team ( and Sours are a good team) we are quite likely to get beaten.

So it's the overconfidence on here with some I just hope hasn't got to the players as well.

Of course I want us to win and win well. And I expect we will.

But think on this. If by chance we shoud lose, Spurs get 3 more points and take a step closer to keeping the scum out of the CL. Which would after all be marvellous.

And we can still win the league. So long as we will most if not all of our home games we need 4 or 5 away wins only and have 8 games to get them from. Losing tonight is not the end of the world.

im getting very nervous about tonight and mondays game, the trouble is, i dont like being confident. Its just not how ive been raised as a City supporter. But now the expectation level is so high and we are playing so well and we are watching the best City side that has ever graced the turf, and im just not used to it! im too used to failure and disapointment.

Well said.
