Why cant neutrals see that we have more potential than Villa! Yes the deal with have a lot of money behind it, but they'll be telling him who we have lined up to sign as well as himself and THAT is what will turn his head!

This would be a tremendous signing. He would compliment Stevie Ireland perfectly, and would be a much better option than VK in the centre of midfield. Also, I think he would give us the option to play 442 as he can play the holding role, with Stevie in front of him, or he can play the advanced role with DeJong behind him if Stevie is injured...

You have to wonder if Barry does sign, whether there is a significant transfer plan in place for the summer which is being sold to him...because honestly I would have considered this transfer as unlikely as say Kaka or Villa simply because of Barry's stance last summer about wanting to play Chumps League football...

This will be the selling point......

vinny imo. de jong is consistant, vinny panics some times. alltho im sure we can mix it about. barry is the player that wins us away games :)
