There's a reason why he's not in that squad currently in Paris, he lacks discipline and his attitude has always been questioned.
We shall see. I think Nasri is the type who needs to feel loved to produce his best and I suspect Pep will know this and get the best out of him. If this happens I have a sneaky feeling some are going to be pleasantly surprised at what he can do.

Yeah not a good start coming back out of shape after partying with a 17 year old girl. Pep isn't Pellegrini though, he won't accept half arsed effort. He either does the work or he will be gone.

Yep great to see him putting his foot down with yaya and nasri. It's disgrace eful though really isn't it? Al the youngsters who've been training with the few first team players since pep came and no doubt working hard and trying to I press,th3 you get senior players like yaya and nasri who should be setting a good example and they need extra work because they're not arsed. Shameful

We all know what he can do, his ability is without question but its his lack of application and commitment which is the issue.

People use to say the same about Balotelli but three or four managers later he is still looking to be 'loved' helped with his demons etc. Some players just do not want to put the hard yards in to make the most of their ability.

He could be fantastic next year, I have a sneaking feeling he may be, but it depends on which Nasri turns up and so its a gamble and personally if we can get someone in who we know will be committed to the cause and of similar ability why take the risk??

Think his contract runs to 2019 anyway so won't be many takers on his wages. Certainly not for a fee near his worth.

I'd keep him anyway. Talent is useful and he is talented. If he doesn't pull his finger out he will be on the bench or in the stands.

I don't think the players are daft. They will know that and it wouldn't be a great career move. Most of them get one chance in their lives to be coached by someone as good as him. They would be mad to waste the opportunity.

Some of the players won't survive it though because they are not technically good enough. He is not one of them.

I suppose thats the question is Nasri motivated by a coach coming along and making him the best player he can be? He has never shown that desire previously and your correct for players like Silva, Aguero, Kompany they will consider it once in a lifetime opportunity.

The Press reports we do not know whether they are true but his name being listed is not surprising or seeing him walking into hollywood nightclubs. Some players like the trappings of being a professional footballer more than maximising there effort to be the best they can possibly be.

Hes a great asset when at his game, intelligent, scores goals, creates space/ assissts. On top form he could make a big difference to our title challenge. Im glad we stuck with him.
