Rooney should be captain. Nobody on the pitch works harder than he does, and sums up the spirit of English football and English people.

To be honest, i think lampard should be captain.

I know it is all well and good to slag rooney for banging that old bird, but that was a long time ago, and even criminals get a second chance. Ronney may be an anoying cnut in a Rag shirt, but he is one hell of a player and has really worked on his temper by the looks of things. Maybe Vice captain for rooney, but lampard is a good pro (So rooney might shag him), has experience, has performed well for england, is consistently been picked and is not injured much.
