St Ambrose child abuse

Shocking news about my old school. The crimes date back to the 60s, 70s, before my time but does anyone know the teachers arrested?

I do.

He was my Chemistry teacher.

Good job my parents didn't send me for extra lessons.

The whole thing feels extremely creepy.

I'm wondering if I know the victim(s).

-- Wed Dec 05, 2012 6:27 pm --

I like to think of the Roman Catholic church as the Microsoft of child abuse.
Other religions are theoretically in competition, but it's pretty much a niche market that was sewn up by Rome some time ago.

Your dislike of Catholicism is well documented NF, but in a ghoulish way this is very funny.

TMQ's point is a terrible one.

The point of showing them as Catholic rather than atheist paedophiles, is because only one of those ideas claims moral authority from the creator of the Universe and the human race. It's the hypocrisy that's been pointed out
Apart from the fact the perpetrator is actually C of E and working in a Catholic school. How fucked up is that?!

He's a Deacon rather than a Priest.

That's why the paper called him a minister.

Fair point but he is a deacon in the diocese of shrewsbury.

That says to me he is a Catholic.

We'll just call him the sinister minister.

Apparently there have been rumours for years about him.

What makes me shudder even more is that some abuse took place at the school involving other teachers as well.
