Stand or Sit?

it's just the standard 'please sit down attempt', these days standing blocks 116,117,118,3/4 of 119 - then 109, 110, 111 , so can see it spreading even more. Remember 4 or 5 years ago they pulled a couple of rows out from 116 but not had any problems since then, had that incident last year against villa i think where showsec jumped all over the old man. seemed to calm down after that. hopefully fletcher aint got any more tricks up his sleeve.

Im all for standing. Im in 107 for the Southampton game and 111 for the QPR game. The standing section seems to be spreading. Its well into block 107 now. Like people have said, if ya want to sit down, piss off somewhere else in the ground.

I hate sitting down, does my head in! the amount of times i have been told to sit down at a game is unreal!

Thats why i like sitting in 116 117 111 110.

i appreciate in other blocks in the ground they prefer to sit down, but even if your stood up for an attack someone has something to say about it.

We were at wembley for last years charity shield, had a tiny Chinese woman in the row behind us just screaming SIT DOWN SIT DOWN SIT DOWN for the entire match! Fuckin well funny.

Probably not that funny for her, to be fair.

No she was furious! But it's not like we were stood up for the entire game, just jumping up every now and then with excitement when a goal went in or it was rattling around the box, but as soon as your arse left the seat it was.......SIT DOWN SIT DOWN SIT DOWN! Half the block were killing themselves laughing.

Every fan in the stadium surely has a pair of eyes (or at least one) so they should be able to see that it is only certain few blocks where people stand, and want to do so.
If you do not want to stand, you have some 50 blocks where you can go and sit.


edit: I do want to add that in cases of us reaching major finals etc the situation is somewhat different.
I for one love to stand. but at the FA Cup semi at Wembley I had considerably smaller woman (or elderly person, not sure anymore) than I am behind me.. and in that case I (and thankfully the other few rows at the 3rd tier ahead of me) obviously agreed to sit down. and that's how it should be. but at Eastlands my point above stands!
