Stand or Sit?

Love where I stand/sit. Stand all game and have chance to sit at half time. It's all I need.

Everyone else round me is likeminded too. Everyone wants to stand. Then again nobody dares asking people to sit where we are.

111 again for me, not actually sure if I have a chair think my season card is just for a space on the row!

Might this be a precursor to trying to get everybody to sit down?

After all all this falacy of a "standing area" - according to the ground regs which the police and council are involved in it's not allowed.

It's tolerated but they have the potential to get nasty with it perhaps?

117 and standing by the way ;-)

They will never ever be able to get blues to sit down in these areas now. They've been trying since 2003.

All that's happened is it spread far and wide.

Not great for some but no one is stopping people move.

Few seasons ago, Birmingham away, our whole away end was stood up through the whole game and when the stadium announcer told everyone to sit down, everyone pissed themselves laughing and just started chanting 'Stand up if you love city'.

I'm in the standing section so I might be a bit biased towards standing, but I don't think I'm a selfish twat for wanting to stand up.

On the rare occasion at an away game when the person behind me is sat down and can't see past me, I;ll sit down too. I had a woman sat behind me at Oldham who wanted to sit down (she was on the back row) and so I asked if she wanted to swap seats. That way I could stand and she could sit. Happy days.

Obviously it's very rarely that easy, but if more people want to stand up than the standing section holds, can City not just make the standing section bigger? Less hassle, less arguments. If they can do it of course.

we were about half way up directly behind the net and it looked like everyone was standing from row1.

I think almost everyone was to be fair, we were stood just to the right of the goal right at the very back. The woman was half of an oldish couple who didn't look like they could manage 90 minutes of standing!

Hope 109 isn't the battleground again.

Think they will start off strong in the first 3/4 home games and then give in. Then try again around Xmas and give in again.
