Started up Golf

Just splashed out £800 for clubs, bag, shoes, trolley and gloves. I feel very ill. Please someone tell me it should be as pricy as that.

Whichever shop you spent this money in the sales assistant must have pissed themselves as soon as you walked out the door, 800 quid you bloody fool, the sales bloke should be ashamed of himself as well though

on a separate note i am thinking of taking up a musical instrument as a hobby does anyone know where i can buy a stradivarius? not sure if i have the patience for it so 20 million is my limit

If it helps I did my research, and the shop to get my business had to match the price I could get it on the internet which was around £300 cheeper. You see being a salesman myself you will find I was the one that got the loudest laugh. :)

So american golf had this lot down as over a grand retail? what is your handicap and how many times have you played the game?

Whats your point with this? yeah ok I bought £800 worth of golf stuff and guess what? Im new to the sport. But like I said I did my research with it, I could of spent £2000 today IF i wanted to! but i didnt. I did tell the guy im new to golf and if i didnt end up taking it up I wont loose sleep over £800.

Thats the point with sales fella, no matter how you get ripped off, as long as YOU feel you have had a good deal then all is good. Am like I said I did do my research so I did had a price in my head of what I wanted to pay.

The only reason I asked bluemoon is because I knew that there is alot more experienced people in this field to let me know if I had a good set of clubs which 99% said yeah good on you, Its a shame about the 1% who just want to make fun as they are just deluded in there sad life. PEACE OUT!
