Statues at the ground

Statues are artwork. Like most other art forms, they don't need to be identical. They capture and show the spirit that the subject gives, whether it is a sense of power, of pride, of grace, of movement, or whatever - each person takes their own view from the statue. If I wanted to know what somebody looked like I would look at a photo or video.

I look at David's statue and I see his imperious graceful mastery of the ball, pondering which of his teammates he should play it to. I don't care if his hairstyle is slightly wrong.

I look at Vinny's statue and see how he gave that strength to the team.

I look at Sergio's statue and see the sheer joy of that momentous point in football history.

Agreed blue, nicely put.

I am just starting to wonder how the next statue is raised. For me, it has to be KDB and the Champion's league.
