Quite, why on earth does Raheem have to defend his statement. Some people are trained to present and distort argument. Some just have a point to make and Raheem has made it. Should be enough. What is it Piers doesn't get ?

He's saying that the articles aren't racist because there's no evidence that the journalists that wrote them are racists.
That misses point somewhat that successful, young, black men are being used for clickbait, whereby the audience is encouraged to be outraged at their lavish lifestyles.
I believe there should be a journalistic responsibility to not fuel these views, and if they absolutely have to do so to get readership (which they little deserve) then they absolutely shouldn't discriminate between races. Because there's absolutely no way a white player would have some of the stories that Sterling has had, run about them.
