Does anyone think that Stevan will start against Chelsea?

I don't, but Pellers might think that he offers something more akin to Sergio, rather than having Beast and Edin together, who are very similar in style.

At least, much more similar than Kun, Stevan.

For some reason I have a feeling he's definitely in the starting 11 *monday*. The beast vs Dzeko is the one I'm less sure about. Is pelli gonna go with the beast just bc he's proved he's gotta little more to offer than dzeko, or will he go dzeko just for chemistry purposes? We had the spanish speaking duo reek havok, maybe the bosnia-montenegro combo can prove to be another deadly partnership within our arsenal

I think Pellegrini would rather start with Edin and Alvaro as it's tried and tested. It would also leave a big game changer on the bench in Jovetic to adjust the point of attack.

Nice interview on sky this morning
Just repeating what he has said in interviews about being confident he would get through the injuries and prove himself
Really nice guy and very talented

Many posts praising Jovetic's display at white hart lane- rightly so.We could also mention that he nearly scored at upton park when he jinked past nolan and flighted a crafty chip which jaaskelainen only saved at full stretch over his head just under the bar. What' s more, he started the move which led to the opener against watford.
jovetic's alleged '' mental weakness'' is a hack journo's fiction like the bollocks from a scribbler in the mirror claiming he was costing the club a fortune every minute.in fact, his transfer fee was relatively low. It may have been influenced by his cruciate injury three years ago. But, in fact, he was noted at fiorentina for the guts with which he battled back against that setback. The journos also misunderstood Manuel Pellegrini when he said '' we needed to build up his trust''. This did not of course mean his trust in the club but his trust in himself i.e. his self-confidence. As with any player, this can be more shaken by a series of minor injuries than a single bad one.
jovetic's game is based on his tricky gait, his lightness on his feet, his deceptive scampering stride, his anticipation and awareness of teammates. These were the qualities which led him , at only nineteen, to destroy liverpool in the champs league.
there's nothing at all wrong with his attitude. at upton park, he gave his shirt to the fans, some of whom had greeted his arrival sceptically.
at white hart lane, it seemed sherwood had sussed him for a softie. he was hardly on the pitch before adebayor threw him over the touchline and rose blasted the ball at him while he was down.but he just got up and got on with it without complaint. he showed respect for silva, apologising at once for failing to execute the one-two which merlin had in mind. and at the end he showed a polite but no fuss respect for his manager when mp seemed to ask him'' have you got through all right'?' and he turned and just nodded.
ok this is still a long way from the jovetic who lit up serie a and masterminded montenegro but, provided only that he keeps free of injuries, he'll surely be a sky blue star.

Lol, chemistry. Too much fifa?

Still very important in "real football", just notice Navas & Negredo. The language barrier etc is more important than you think.

Dzeko and Negredo to start against Chelsea. If Dzeko misses several chances like he did against Spurs then I'd give Jovetic the nod for the next few games.

Dzeko was terribly wasteful. Wish we had Kun.

Jovetic is no great finisher either.

Player are good enough will always work on the same wavelength. It does not become telepathy coming from regions which are close together.
