I can't believe he could be unfit for the squad for a cup final on a Sunday and then be fit for international (friendly) duty on the following Wednesday. The club would never release him and if they did serious questions would be asked about his commitment

I've been reading Bluemoon for a long time now and I noticed that these sorts of comments came up last time, about how Jovetic would rather play for his country than City. If that was the case, why would Jovetic even step out onto the field of play against Stoke? Why wouldn't he just say before the game that he wasn't fit to make it? He's gone out on to the pitch to try and help us win the game. In doing that, he's felt a tweak, pull, cramp, whatever, and doesn't want to make it any worse so he goes off as part of a substitution that changed the game. Can you blame him for doing that considering he was out for 6 months with recurring injuries? It must have scared him to death.

Well he`s hardly likely to be in the squad is he ??
Could it be that he's been told he will be out for x weeks. He's miserable at missing the cup final due to yet another niggle and the club have told him to take a break back home rather than mope in Manchester.

Is it not the case that he will have to be assessed by their doctor, if called up, so neither he nor City would make the decision of whether he plays or not ?
