Stevan Jovetic (part 2)

Last serious injury was 2010-2011. He missed a month last season and has had minor injuries but that isn't unnatural. Aguero and Kompany seemed to have about 6 injuries between them last season.

He is worth the £21million we've offered up front on potential alone, but is already a very good player and his goal scoring has improved in the past two seasons and can still improve more. Anyone expecting to get him for under £20million doesn't really understand the market anymore... this is a player who United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus and Real Madrid have all trailed - several have made offers. Juve don't sign many duds anymore and offered very big money by their standards for him this summer but Fiorentina turned it down even with players throw in.

It's worth paying a few extra mil to stop him going to United. He's just what we need....young and can only get better, so his sell on value is also very good, if we wanted to sell in a few years time.....We all saw what happened when we missed on RVP...is it worth letting them have a player who could have the same impact for years to come, all for a couple of mil?? We win the league no one cares how much you have spent on a player and would get that money back and more...

Kind regards

One for the flappers.

Moyes has said that they hope to have done some business by Monday...

Now tht they have lost out on Thiago and risk of losing rooney, they will surely look upon Jovetic...Hope this doesn't isco /hazard way :(

Don't hold your breath!

We seem to be rank amateurs when we are up against other top teams for a player.
Such as?
I'm guessing Isco , Hazard and maybe even Van Rapist.

Interestingly enough the three players we've tried to sign for this very position we've had inadequately filled for the past 3 seasons, Sanchez, Hazard and Isco. Maybe it's just cursed.

Good man.

Think (hope) that United May have arrived to this particular party just a little bit too late.

I'd say the only way the Rags are going balls deep for Jovetic, to the point of going above and beyond what it should normally cost to get him, is if they're 100% confident Rooney is gone. If he brings in 30m + the wages off the books, spend the 30m on Jovetic and much less wages.

If Rooney stays I doubt the Glazers are going to sanction a bid off with us, of all clubs. That's an expensive game to play.

Paid off his wonga loan or Leon Osman?

Hope your right mate...I have a feeling they've come to the party at just the right time..City done all the leg work, Jovetic agent knows what they are willing to offer and what fee they are willing to pay, so United now know what they need to do to get the deal done...

Kind regards
