With all this Jovetic, Negredo, Osvaldo talk and so called dealings, maybe were secretly talking with Luis Suarez at this very moment.

Exactly my thoughts

I get that feeling as well...whether we like it or not the market value for young up and coming players like Isco, Jocetic and Illarramendi has been set this year at around 30mil. We know it, Jovetic's agent knows it and Jovetic's club know it...By dragging our feet and trying to get a bargain we only give other teams the chance to jump in front...and while we try and save a few mil other teams will come in and sign these players...I really hope I'm wrong but the Cavani, Isco deals only showed me, the longer we take the cut the price the easier we make it for other teams. I dont want to overpay and dont want to get ripped off but when other team value these players higher...dont we need to look at how we are doing the valuing...

Kind regards

I have no doubt that we will end up missing out on him now.

Interestingly enough the three players we've tried to sign for this very position we've had inadequately filled for the past 3 seasons, Sanchez, Hazard and Isco. Maybe it's just cursed.

And that qualifies us as rank amateurs ? We just fail every time another club is involved ?

Which part of "top teams" didn't you understand?

Makes you wonder how we got Navas

Which top teams were seriously in for him?

Which top teams were seriously in for him?

or Aguero

Which top teams were seriously in for him?

Good god we are only on part 2 need another three parts a) to call it a saga and b) to enable us to go from pure joy to downright depression on alternative days for at least a fortnight.

(Wish he would hurry up and sign though). :-)

I will be devastated if the scum sign Jovetic, I just hope the sway of having Dzeko, Nastasic and Kolarov will help our pursuit.

Sometimes you just have to the pay demanded fee for certain players and Jovetic is one of those players.

If we miss out on him because of a few million I will be a little annoyed.

you really could set your watch by this transfer forum. We go in for him and he isnt good enough for us, his stats are awful, i am entirely underwhelmed by this signing, united are 'reportedly' interested in him and all of a sudden people would be devastated if we miss out on his, we really do need to stop fucking about, he could be the difference.

Either that or this is a giant wind up and ive fallen for it big time.

I have wanted Jovetic all along, but I am just saying I will be annoyed if United get him because we a stuck in our ways of trying to haggle the price down.

If United are selling Rooney they could put 30m euros on the table come Monday and he will be their player by the end of the day, sometimes for certain players you just need to pay what the players club want.

Is 'the silence deafening' yet? Or should we 'just walk away'?
