Zaba,Vinnie,Sergio,Yaya,Merlin,non were proven in the PL !!!

I am not saying he won't cut the mustard however of the above which came from Italy which is technically a lot slower than the prem and if anything behind Spanish and German football.
He was fucking pants against England in the qualifiers.

His stats are very average!

Put some context on it. He spent his first season on and off the bench when he was settling in. He missed a season with a cruciate and he played the majority of last season on the left.

This lad is quality, no guarantees he'll make it in PL but there's no denying his talent.

His stats are very average!

Much more to a player than goals. Also take into account possible injuries etc. Stats should help form an opinion, but they should not be the sole basis of it.
