I have never heard anything from him apart from CFG work and as a supporter of MCFC , I care only of my club. I think the last two games have been a serious low point and the fans, especialy the ones who travelled to Madrid are owed an explanation.

If we lose today the aught to be booed off. We boo the CL anthem for unfairness (basically) but allow our own team and players to cheat us and steal our hard earned cash.
Bring back SWP, Rosler, Barton, Beagrie, Morrison, Tiato et al because they were miles shorter on ability but they actually gave a fuck and that is the first thing we need.
I actively dislike a huge portion of this team now. The last 18 months has turned me against them.
That describes my feelings, after watching City since the late 60's, I've laughed and taken the piss, but never felt and resented lazy overpaid, not wishing to put words in your mouth.

They may be the "biggest club in world football" whatever that means, but they were 11 players, an average Madrid team and in the last 20 minutes looking nervous and there for the taking

He is right.
But imo that mentality comes from the manager & spreads down. A manager with a real feel for the game would have ordered a change at the end of that & just demanded the players throw the kitchen sink at it, even if they had been shite upto that point. It was all there to win.
He just watched the game. The team is now in his image. Passive & 'ah well football goes on, we all move on, we did ok, it's not our fault' etc.
On the subject of mentality, anyone worried about a bit of piss taking by some rag hasbeens needs to find their backbone. Better still, get behind the team week in and week out so the rags have one less hook for their desperate whingeing?
There seems to be a growing number of threads on this forum for the self-entitled, smacked arse "super blues". Maybe it started with posters who claimed they were superior fans for not going to Champs League games - or maybe it has always been here with people slagging off one manager off after another!

Totally agree, but if you were lucky enough to be wearing the shirt that night, would you not think sod this let have a go and show the silly old fool how to play the game? and if you did that, you are showing the watching Pep that you have the required fight and passion.
I think they had basically lost all idea. They needed help. They didn't get any & haven't had any for years. It's all on them, every week, to make the best of his stupid fucking formations, motivate themselves when things go wrong, the whole lot.
Fat Sam would have thrown Managala or Otamendi or both up front, had Dinho etc leathering the ball in & Aguero etc feeding off it. We might have lost 0-2. But it's quile likely we would have created one chance. It goes in, we're in the final.
Except if Pell did actually do that, then when it went in, he would switch us back to 442 with 2 up front & Real would carch us on the break & score again. Because that's what he does.

I was in Madrid for the game mate and I don't want an explanation from the CEO. I would like one from the Premier League on their fixture scheduling though!

Exactly this. It can't be underestimated the complete balls up the hierarchy have made in the last 3/4 years.This is a huge point. United have declined, it even started before Ferguson left but after he did go it was rubber stamped and the Premier League was wide open for us to takeover. We had everything in place to be the team to takeover. Chelsea were firing managers like there was no tomorrow, Arsene"stubborn"Wenger was still in charge at Arsenal...it was there for us. We couldn't have dreamt for it to be easier for us to takeover. It wasn't like it was 1999 or 2008 when United had their two best teams or 2004 when Arsenal were so good they didn't lose or 2005 when Chelsea were so good they got 95 points...it was wide open for us to take it for ourselves.
However, we signed poorly in 2012 and won nowt in 2013, we signed poorly in 2014 and have gone even further backwards since. We're now struggling to stay in the top four!
What a wasted opportunity!
