still happy with the loss today and fa cup final

If we go on to win the FA Cup & in some style rather than a nail biting 1-0, as long as we finish top four it will have been an OK Season .
However giver our ascendancy last May we had the momentum to establish dominance over the rags. It is dominating them that is our ultimate benchmark. Dominate them before thinking we can dominate Real or Barca ..It means we will have moved forward, and in moving forward prizes and European success will follow.
This Season will at best have been one of treading water rather than sliding into reverse. Its will be seen as one of missed opportunity.

False positive
Its always healthy and encouragable to think positive and pyschologically, people tend to react positively to postive posts and automatically conclude that the person is right because he is positive.

Im afraid, positivity in this specific context of players not having the personal pride and dignity to push through to the bitter end regardless of the outcome of the premire league race is false and misguided.

Yes, we are in the Fa cup final and second in the league and the rest but anything less may be considered by some as unfathomable.

Life is about realising your potential and doing the best with what you have, so on that basis, there are justifiable reasons to look at what youve posted and say - 'you mad bro?'

So in conclusion, it has been a negetive day and the healthy thing to do is to accept the negetive but hope we do better next season.
isnt that being,posative ?

Point duly noted.

To my defence though, I type fast and dont really care much about spelling and commas as long as my message is clear.

I don't think second place is nailed on and the way Wigan played against you on Wednesday neither is the FA cup!

A trophy and top three will do you but if you look at your Carling cup fiasco, your horror shows in Europe and your league form, this shouldn't gloss over what has been an after the Lord Mayors show season!

Fixed ;)

Kindly do NOT alter what i have written please and in doing so somehow imply i am a supporter of another team,or worse a fucking rag!!Comprendo???Here is what i ACTUALLY wrote!!

Provided we can win the FA Cup then it would be a good season.
It will be a barely acceptable season not a good one.

winning the F.A.cup and finishing 2nd is barely acceptable.truly astonishing.

We have not finished 2nd yet!

Chelsea are on a great run at the moment.

They and arsenal still have to play the rags but a rag side who will have fuck all to play for.

It's a good job we beat Wigan because if we hadn't we would have been right in the mix.

Don't think tactical changes had anything to do with it

You saw us on Weds. We were running on empty and needed to kill the game when we were on top in the 1st half. No Aguero, no SIlva and Milner injured. What alternatives were there?

For some, it always has to come back to Mancini at every opportunity.

this is so right

the sunday semi final on a big wembley pitch vs chelsea a top team and then back on our own big pitch on wed/night and then off again to london to play spurs

we did look leggy in the second half and should not look into this loss to much
the need for a easy week maybe take the players away for 4 days with a game at home this weekend to west ham

but come fa cup final day when we can put out our very best 11 with 2nd place in the bag and then after the game we will look at the season and say ok not bad
can and will do alot better next season

never said that we had finished 2nd or won the cup just that i was astonished that for some that would be a barely acceptable season.

Not happy with the loss today but satisfied with the season over all. We need to strengthen the squad, not enough quality in depth.

How can anyone be "happy" with that today?

maybe the quote (happy) i said was a bit tongue in cheek

its just feels ok and not sad that we lost today the game and the bigger picture of the rest of the season utd winning the league anyway the fa cup final is the biggest game that mancini and manchester city have to play
