Good crowd mind about 3.3k. That's a lot of pissed off fans. ;)

Sorry but it made me smile too, many of their "fans" deserved it for the way they behaved after managing 1 season in their history higher than City.George Hannah said:Taking pleasure in mocking the less fortunate is a deeply unwholesome trait, I would even go so far as to say that those who delight in County's misfortune deserve the same fate.

They'll not get any sympathy from me I'm afraid, but that's aimed solely at their now stay away fans, who at the time forgot that many blues kept their club alive when they played Friday nights, and finished near the bottom of division 4 regularly, and even supported them as they managed their brief climb up the divisions.
Some did, for some City was and is their other club. It is quite a feat of petty spite to imagine that the 3500 souls who turned up to support their club, at the start of what they hope will be a climb back to league status, are all City haters and rags.laserblue said:cleavers said:Sorry but it made me smile too, many of their "fans" deserved it for the way they behaved after managing 1 season in their history higher than City.George Hannah said:Taking pleasure in mocking the less fortunate is a deeply unwholesome trait, I would even go so far as to say that those who delight in County's misfortune deserve the same fate.

Totally agree. I was among those who went along to support them (financially and in spirit) when they were on their uppers and struggling to stay in the league. Eventually they got ahead of themselves and turned against City and City fans in an unnecessarily nasty and spiteful way. As they continue to slide I expect their disaffected support to dribble away and become pub rags.
