Stoke fans at Picadilly / Trouble {merged}

anybody else see the wanker copper smack one of the stoke fans in the face as he was celebrating their goal, some of you will say well done to him etc but imagine what you would be saying if it was a blue just celebrating a goal and a copper decides to punch him in the face.

I fucking hate bullying, shite-for-brains policemen. They are beyond toilet.

In all seriousness, did anybody else on here see what happened outside the Merc garage after full time?
yeahh we were in the middle of it all the stoke fans on 1 side of the road and city fans on the other then the stoke fans were squaring up to everyone then next min was some massive fight, i got jumped on & all the police ran towards everyone and see 1 policeman smack a city fan with his baton/truncheon thing about 4 times on his legs

Scuse the spelling of Picadilly but I can't be arsed running it through Google. Got a text from a mate on way home (lives darn sarf) saying a number of Stoke fans are acting up. Not sure whether to believe him or not however I wouldn't put it past them. Doing the small time turning over tables, smashing windows etc. Don't shoot the messenger.
I missed my train home from Picadilly so was hanging around for an hour. There was no trouble. Just a bit of Come On Stoke before their train left. They had a train to Stoke, and a train to Birmingham New St

I saw a group of thirty plus wearing no colours coming from the direction of the estate, opposite the side of the street the Stoke fans were on and then the next time I turned around it was kicking off all across the street. Like I said yesterday the GMP handled it poorly yet again.

What's the point in going to all those precautions before kick off, sticking up that daft fence, sending home fans around the South Stand etc if after the game everyone's free to do whatever they please?

I lost my old man during all the commotion yesterday, and I was genuinely worried about his safety, let alone all the kids with their parents walking the same route, and it all could have been avoided.

I saw this. It looked like the stoke fans were giving it big to some lads on the bus and it kicked off ans they come running down the road towards the merc garage. Weird thing was though the people who turned round and kicked off with them seemed to be Stoke fans an all. I saw a lad get dropped and shout 'i'm stoke' and the guy who dropped him was like 'we're stoke as well!'

The police are useless though. When will they learn to keep people in after the game and have a better presence on ashton new road.

Yes I saw this - bit of a scuffle but the cops arrived smartish. Fizzled out pretty quickly tbh

no mention of any trouble on any Stoke boards, all seems a bit sensationalised to me.

I'm sure there have been many instances in the past with other visiting teams that have led to far more incidents.

It seems that in your eyes Stoke will always be scum when the reality is that 99.9% of the fans that attend are just passionate fans awith no intent on trouble and I know for a fact that your club like Stoke has a few morons who can spoil it for the rest
